every once in a while my phone says "a memory card was just inserted would you like to search for videos and music?" how do I prevent this from occuring? when it asks me this my memory card has already been inserted for q while

I have found that if I view a video in Win Mobile Media player and close the window with the X in the right corner that media player is still "on" and while it is still on with a video loaded I get asked to scan the storage card for media files every time I unlock my phone. Go into media player under Now Playing and remove the now playing media.

My previous post didn't work long.... as soon as I played a media file it came back.

I use The Core Player Media Player TCPMP which is much more robust than WMP10.

I have the same problem. After I play a file and even after I delete it, I get the "a storage card... message every time i turn the unit back on.

Very irritating.

Any way to shut it off?
