Default Mobile Device Center BT Sync

    Hi All,

I'm sure others have had this problem before, but I cannot get the BT sync to work with my 700wx AT ALL! I have tried everything I can think of; here are my specs:

Vista 64, using mobile device center
    azio BT adapter

I have tried numerous guides all over the web and have had no luck. Can anybody pitch any ideas? Thank you in advance!

A stupid question - your desktop/laptop does not have Bluetooth built in?

No, my motherboard doesn't have BT, hence why I have the azio adapter (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16833340012)

It's spec says it should work in Vista64. I am surprised this is so incredibly hard to do! I greatly appreciate any and all advice.

Yeah, BT sync works with the 64bit system; the USB does not due to Palm's lack of drivers. After pairing the device and the laptop, you have to set properties within the BT setup on the laptop to make syncing available. Good luck with it though - the 32bit on my machine works fine, I have not set it up on my wife's computer (64bit with her Centro).

Thanks for the reply. Actually, the USB works just fine, I just wanted BT for ease of use.

I tried your suggestion, too, but have had no luck. I am using WM5 on my device, I heard there's update for it somewhere... should I look into that maybe?

As in WM6 for the 700WX?

I currently have WM5 for the 700WX... I have heard of people upgrading to WM6, but I haven't done so. I doubt WM5 would be a source of any problems, but just letting you know the specs.

Please let me know if you have any ideas. Thank you!
