I am in charge of cell phones in my company and we have both Q and Treo users. Yes, it is true that your chance of getting a bad Q is much larger than Treo. However, if you get a good/functional unit then you have very little to worry about. Personally, I have a Q and have absolutely no problems with it. It really depends what your needs are and how much of a PDA you need.
1. Battery life - Treo
2. Bluetooth - Q
3. Price - Q
4. Document Management/editing - Treo
5. Design and size - Q
6. Running Accounting and Supply chain software - Treo
I am sure I am missing more, but it really depends what criterias are important to you. I love both phones, so you can't really go wrong with either one.

Issues like battery life being very bad. And more recently, the phone keeps freezing and the only way to fix it is remove the battery for long periods of time.
I am going to take the phone back from her and see if I can fix it and if not send it back and get her a Treo I think because there are not many options for her since she has Sprint.
Just go through the forums about the Q and you will see all the issues users are having. |
