I'm not real sure if I have this down.

I've installed the full 1.60.4622.0 version of Voice command.

I soft reset my Treo 700wx, paired my Motorola H700 headset, and pressed the connect button on my headset, which did activate the Voice command, but immediately dialed one of my contacts.

I'm not sure if that's the proper procedure. I have assigned the button on the side of the Treo for Voice Activation. Pressing that side button on the side of the Treo and saying the command into the headset seems to work. Is this the correct procedure? It seems that pressing the connect on the headset should be the proper way to initate a voice command.

I would wait as there seems to be a quirk or two, but you will need to buy it. Its also possible that your cell provider may furnish an update. If you have to buy it you will need to buy the full version the first time, then the next time will be an update, which is considerably cheaper.

I think the quirks that I found are due to the version of Windows Mobile (5.1.195 Build 14929.2.2.1) on my phone. I do see some feedback out there that has an updated version of Windows Mobile, or at least a newer version then what came on my Treo 700wx.

I'm not sure. Some1 emailed me the download and I synced it over to my phone...

This is the only quirk that I've found. My Treo comes with build 14926.2.2.1...

Incoming caller ID announcements will be spoken via the phone speaker on devices with a Windows Mobile build prior to 15097.3.0.0. To check which build is on your device, go to settings >about or start >controlpanel >about. If your build number is lower thatn 15097.3.0.0, this will be true for your device.
