Default Multiple Treo700 problems - new to forum! Help!

I've had my phone now for about 2 months and continue to have the same problems, over and over. Can anyone help? First - though I have all of my energy saving features set to power modes, my battery life is terrible. I use this phone for my business and I'm normally out of juice by 2:00 in the afternoon. Any suggestions? Second - while in the middle of a call, my Treo will begin dialing an additional number (no rhyme or reason) and my first call is placed on hold. At first I thought this had to do with my speed buttons being on my touch screen and I was somehow activating a call with my face while talking. However, I still have this problem, even after moving my speed buttons off the touch screen and I'm made my buttons enactive while on a call. This is soooooo annoying. Any suggestions? Third - sometime will checking my voicemail, the buttons to delete, save, listen, etc. to messages won't working and I have to hang-up and reconnect to VM inorder for them to work. This doesn't happen all the time, but it's still a pain. For some reason, my display screen will fade out to nearly nothing. When I go into to the brightness settings, it will be nearly all the way to dim, though I never change it....it somehow is changing itself. Please help! I'm ready to ditch the phone! Debbie

As far as battery life is concerned, have you tried an 1800mAh extended battery?

Also, XCPUScalar is software that allows you to regulate the speed of your 700 -- slow it down/speed it up.

Using both of these things in combination has helped a lot of people extend their battery life, including me.

However, if you're always on the phone I'm not sure how much more life you can get out of it in your case...

Hope that helps...

In the EverythingTreo store, there's a 2400mAh battery I think.

I use the 2400 mAh battery and its a big help. You could also get a car charger so if your traveling around alot keep it topped off.
