Myspace on Treo wx

Everything I can think of on my Treo wx works flawlessly, except for Myspace.

After entering the correct login info and password, it comes back to the same screen.

It ONLY does that while browsing on the phone. Any computer works fine and even if im using this very phone as the modem for it, it works fine. Just not on the phone iteslf. Its almost like the phone wont cookie for myspace? lol

I have the same issue with My Space. Don't know of any solutions. If you find one post it okay.

the Problem is Myspace, notices you are useing PIE 5.0, as your browser. Your TREO does have the capability of rendering the page, you just have to change its browser strings throught the registry so....
I recomend the PHM registry editor (simplistic nothing extra Free)

now after that

Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\
Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent \
Change the default value from "Mozilla/2.0" to "Mozilla/4.0".

Change the "Version" value from "MSIE 3.02" to "MSIE 6.0".

Change the "Platform" value from "Windows CE" to "Windows NT 5.1".

Soft reset
A good way to check, if it took, is to go to www.google.com and the FULL google should load. Then your set! happy Myspaceing

It worked last night, lol. IIRC the only thing I did differently was uncheck the remember password box. lol The other site that was giving me problems was also working as well. I was roaming though, if that would matter.

Can we make a thread with all the Registry Hacks the for the Treo? and Sticky or do we already have that?

Lucidic, I need more steps to help me understand the process that you have listed. I download the information to my desktop. When I do an active sync do I just open the desktop or do I drag it and then go through the information you provided, ie browse to hkey_local_machine/software\microsoft....etc....I need more guidence

no you must have a registy browser
i used PHM
you MUST install the CAB before borwseing anywhere on your registry
http://www.phm.lu/Products/PocketPC/RegEdit/downlaod that and put that on your phone by useing the Active sync browser or draging and dropping the program useing the windows explorer
it can also be downloaded as a CAB directly over your phone
then you fallow what i have told you

ohh and BTW I am not responcable for anything you may or maynot acheve from useing of this software or fallowing my guidence

I did have this problem, but now it actually logs into it. Sometimes is will come up to that blank screen with the link "view advertisment" at this point I just click the home line and it takes me to my profile.

The only thing I can't figure out is how to view messages in my inbox, it does not scroll over enough to view the message, it only shows the avatar of the person, not the message link itself.

Anyone know how to get around this.

Yea, go to the menu, then view, then change from default to desktop.
