New Desired Features
I read the posts about the 700's WiFi card. Will the 700 be capable of connecting to a laptop so that I can access the internet via the laptop (since I do not have a WiFi card for the laptop)?
Also, I am wondering if Windows platform will improve the functionality of the machine and its software, for example: will Adobe Reader actually open PDF's and not just a Palm version of a PDF, will you be able to better utilize access items saved onto SD Card, etc.

PDA net for Treo
I use PDA net to use my Treo 600 as an interface for my Sony Viao laptop when there is no WiFi available. It is fairly reliable and works in the US and the UK, so far.

Say what?!?!
Verizon told me that this was not possible.
What did you buy? What kind of cord, etc.
Is there a program associated with it?

Okay, I just Googled PDA Net. I didn't know! Thank you very much!!

PDAnet
You are welcome. Just hook the Treo to your laptop as if you were going to synch. Once you load PDAnet you will have an icon in the lower righthand corner. Just click and you should be good to go. The speed is ok to retrive small email. I don't think you could download a powerpoint presentation etc.

Yep... Memory seems to be the eternal problem for computers today. I heard the 700 may have 64megs, but that's still tiny.
