New Themes! - Treo Forums

Not sure what themes everyone has here, but I know being a new user Sometimes new themes are hard to come by without searching alot of places. I'll post some and hope you will enjoy them!

I'll post all of them in Zip files individually, then the last one will have all of the themes in one Zip file.

FYI, you can get almost all of these from Micrsoft Windows Mobile site!!

Hey Kcorah, I cant even explain how hard it was for me to get that sprint wm6 default theme (yellow). My hook up at palm gave it to me.... Secret squirrel stuff.. but I hope everybody likes it as much as I do.

Yes, Spdermn. I thank you a lot for that theme! I know I definitly enjoy it. Its a great great theme on the treo, considering its a WM5 OS and the theme is from a WM6 OS!!!! Everyone should thank Spdermn for obtaining this awesome file for us!!

how do you install these? i'm confused.
i put them on my phone and i go to the appearance settings in the today settings and it wont let me browse for new ones. what am i doing wrong?

Are you syncing them to your phone??

You should copy & place each tsk. file into your sync folder on your desktop. After syncing, the files sould be on your phone.

Go to Programs>File Explorer>my documents. If they are not in this folder then there may be a problem with your phone or active sync.

On the other hand, if they are in this file, then they are on your phone. You should then go to Settings>personal>today>appearance. The files should be in the theme box underneath your default themes. Select the theme you want and hit OK. This should change your theme. Good Luck

What programs do you guys use to create your themes?

SO I poneyed up the $16 and got Theme Maker M. Works great for WM5.0 and the creates perfect 240x240 themes. Pretty easy to use and can be found online for quick download.

ok i need help. I am going to need someone to explain how to do this in dumba$$ people terms. when i click on your zip file it ask me to extract the zip file but when I do it, garbage comes up that I don't understand. I never have had to mess with a zip file before. can someone help me out please.
