Optimal Settings for Video Playback

I recently got the 700wx and am experimenting with the trial version of Pocket-DVD Studio 4.0 to rip some DVD movies to an SD card.

Does anyone have any suggestions on the best format, size, etc for optimized video playback.

I know this can be somewhat subjective. But I'm looking for opinions on how I can get the best picture without taking up too much Memory space. Basically I'm looking for an optomized playback without experiencing too much diminishing returns.

i actually take whatevr video i want to load.i usually use uplaod sites or torrents to download them.Then I use windows media encoder,it's free just google it.Select format for pocket pc and let it runs it's course,i find the sound and quality to be pretty good.

im yet to try that out with the treo..but on my pocket PC i remember like 24fps...and like 180-200 kbps vid and audio..
