    Smile Palm OS to 700wx

I have had a PDA for so many years that I decided to move to a smartphone. Although I am very familiar with Palms OS I wanted to used Windows instead of going back to Palm OS. I have ordered my new Treo 700wx but I do realize that I will be faced with some challenges in transferring my OS to Windows. I don't know how my documents to go from OS will transfer. Especially since I have my information on an SD card. I know life would be much easier if I just stayed with the 700p but I like the Windows operating system. I just need to consolidated my mobile phone, PDA and Outlook contacts into one system. I spend to much time updating my contacts in three different applications. Any advice you can share with me about making my transition from OS to Windows would be greatly appreciated. I know I will be happy after all is said and done.

all your outlook information should sync over without fifficulties if you will read and follow the instructions about switching from pal device to windows mobile. palm os programs will not work on windows mobile unless you get a palm emulator like style tap. Also the WM device screen re is 240 x 240 instead of the 320 x 320 you and your palm programs may be used to the 320x prgrams will not work. I recently switched from the 650 w cingular to the 750 with cingular and it was a breeze other than I had to switch back to pocket bible from Laridian from My bible by them (palm os) AS installation was easy for the first time ever and the update to 4.5 from 4.2 went well (also a first for me) Keep us posted and get back if you have problems.
