Palm Treo 700wx coming to Verizon

Palm Treo 700wx to bring Verizon holiday cheer . . .

In case others missed this news bit over at EngadgetMobile or Howard Forums or Palminfocenter it appears likely that Verizon will be getting the Treo 700wx mid December. Below is the link from EngadgetMobiles site and to me its worth it if PPCTechs is still not able to get the much-needed RAM upgrade to work even after Verizon launches the Treo 700wx.

Since I have both the Treo 700p and Treo 700w and switch between them I would ultimately prefer the Treo 700wx with the increased RAM. Multitasking aside I feel Palm has required PalmOS Treo users to purchase too many apps to fix the (still functional) but very outdated OS.

So if you want a WM Treo and Verizon but don't like the memory on the Treo 700w, just wait a bit longer and see what develops.

Yes wait, I have a 700wx from Sprint. I had a 6700 before and had to load as many programs as I could to the storage card. I had to be aware of the memory status all the time. With my 700wx I don't even look at the memory accept 1 a day I run memory maid and close all running programs but this is just something I do for me. I don't think it is really necessary. This 700wx really kicks butt when compared to my 6700. This is the most well thought out PPC Phone on the market at this time IMHO.

Hopefully more details will emerge soon and Verizon will launch it earlier than rumored.
