Default Phone goes black when a 2nd call comes in

I have a Treo 700wx that I purchased from Sprint. When I'm on a call and I receive a second incoming call that I let go to voice mail the screen will go black and I can't talk to the first caller nor can I hear the conversation. After about the 15-20 seconds the phone will recover and if the caller waited I can resume my conversation. Has anyone seen this issue and is there a fix?

It doesn't do it all the time however it does seem like it does it the majority of the times. It's fairly annoying.

    Thanks,

    Mike

Did you ever find the answer to this problem? My phone is doing the exact same thing. I posted this question, but like you have gotten zero response to it.

I have never received an answer. It's my understanding that a lot of people have this problem with their Treo. I tell everyone that is interested in this phone/pda to look at other devices. I'm not sure who's problem this is (Palm/Sprint/Microsoft) however it's not worth the money and the aggravation. Consumer Reports rated the Treo very well and I wonder about their reputation as well.
