Phone Radio turning off

Got a New Treo 700Wx a couple of weeks ago and the phone radio keeps turning off. Everyone talked about how great these treo's are, but this is driving me nuts. Is there some setting I need to change, or something i am doing to make it turn off ? Today i made a call and the person i called told me they would call me back in 5 min. I waited about 20 and they had not called me, so i went to call them back. Dialed the number and got the little pop-up on the screen saing that the phone was turned off, and did i want to turn it on. I really love this phone but it needs to ring when someone calls. Please help me before i send it back and go back to BB.

you dont need to go back to the bb . the treo is hot , you need to send the phone back and get a new one because its not suppose to cut off . the only time is suppose cut off is when the battery is dieing .

I agree with Riyan here. The radio only shuts off when battery life is severely low or you manually turn the radio off. Sounds like defective equipment.

Just make sure you are not pressing the red key too long when you end a call since that will shut off the phone. Also turn on the keypad lock in case the button is accidently being pressed.
