Phone Sound Off, Others Can Hear Me, Please Help

This morning I was streaming audio on Pocket Tunes and listening with headphones. My wife called and I could not hear her. I called her back and could not hear her but she texted me telling me should could hear me. I can, however, hear her on speakerphone.

I did several soft resets and tried switching the profile around and nothing.

Please help as I don't want to take this back to Verizon.

FIX: This is what I did: I looked the problem up on Google and found out that I needed to inert my head phones in and out of the jack a few times. Works fine now.

It seems like the phone is acting like the headset is still plugged in. A hard reset (gulp) may resolve this but I suspect the soft reset you did would have the same result so not sure that is the best option. Any chance the headset plug bent the contacts inside the phone?
