I want Direct Push, I am getting Support Code 0x80072F17

What can I do to fix this?

Maybe I am dumb, but I couldn't get this to work. I downloaded the VZW cert to the computer, installed the certificate, but I could never find the certificate to put it on the phone. And if I put the whole .exe file on the phone when I click it it says no certificates found.

I am confused. Did anyone else do this?-

If you are looking into getting your email as they arrive this is hat you have to do. On the sync schedule change the settings to "as items arrive". It shuld ask you for a number. type in your number @vzntext.com. You will then need to call verizon and ask them to make sure you are in the PDA SMS 2000allowance.
Hope I explained it correctly.

First you should make sure you get the 2000 Free SMS added to your account because its free. Just to confirm you have configured your Treo 700w Exchange Server. If your Treow has been updated to v1.10 which includes the AKU2 (MSFP) and you have a MS Exchange Server 2003 SP2 installed then all you need to do is set your device on "as they arrive" in the AS settings for your Exchange Server. If you do not have a MS Exchange Server 2003 SP2 you can use Wireless Sync and install their software, but you will need to leave your computer running in order for your email to push to your device. Finally if you want a push email service I use 4smartphone.net and forward my email to my Exchange Server account there, sync it with Entourage on my MAC and I leave a copy on my original email account for d/l later to my mail program. I only use Entourage for the sync feature.
