Pocket MSN error and battery life

Hi all, I finally took the plunge and purchased a 700 and I have to admit, with all of the problems that I've seen online from reviewers here, at Cnet, etc; I've been pretty trouble free (I installed update already also). I haven't reset once. However, I am getting one error that says "Temporary conditions currently prevent connecting to the pocket msn network"? I have no idea why it keeps trying to do this without action by me. I get it around every hour or so. My email accounts function (both a POP3 and my hotmail), so my phone is indeed connecting to a network (my internet also works). Any suggestions? Oh, also sometimes with the same error it says dialing #777 failed??

Oh, my battery seems to drain relatively quickly (about a day). I could understand if I was talking a lot, but I didn't today and it still went down pretty quickly. I make sure to press and hold the "ok" button and stop any apps that I don't need. Any suggestions here would be great too.

BlueTooth and ActiveSync are the two biggest battery drainers, IMO.

Anyone else help me with the pocket MSN error? It sucks because it tries all night and makes the phone vibrate/tone even if the phone's off - very annoying. Do I even need pocket MSN to recieve hotmail to my phone?? Is there a way to just shut off the alert for that type of notification? I tried shutting off sounds for warnings ,etc - but it still vibrates on incoming error?

your battery is probly dieing fast from all the vibrating. that drains the battery big time. You dont need the Pocket MSN to get hotmail just turn that thing off. You can get to hotmail just using internet explorer. You will see a link on the palm homepage.
