Pocket PC Outlook E Mail Issues

Has anyone else had recurring error messages that say mail cannot be downloaded due to settings even after mail was downloaded. I get this message on a regular basis after I hit send and receive. This is my 3rd unit after countless phone calls and visits to Verizon store, this unit worked fine for 3 days before having this problem. I have done resets, deleted the account etc. I use this method with POP account because it allows me to separate my work and home e-mails on this unit.

This is just one of several annoying issues with the 700w (the memory leakage is the tie for first place in the anoyiong issue race).

If you are using Comcast e-mail you are (to my understanding) doomed; you will be intermittant at best with others.

You will always be able to receive but sending is the issue.

I assume you have a 700W:

If you have not tried already, set your outgoing port to the port used by your carrier ie: smtp.vzwmail.net (if using verizon); you can find this in menu, tools, options, click on e-mail account, hit "next" 3 times.
