POP3 Sent Item Sync with PC Outlook - Treo Forums

When on the road and using my POP3 email setup on Treo700, I can find no way to sync my SENT folder with my PC Outlook POP3 account when I get home.

Optionally, would be nice to make the Treo "Outlook" messaging account be "online" as a POP3 account.
Any fixes known?

Does your POP account also support IMAP?

Yes it does. But I admit never having looked into the difference.
Will it provide a work-around?
(I have also contacted my Client-host with this question)

Page 79 of the PDF manual that came with your phone explains how to setup IMAP accounts. IMAP is another protocol that allows you to "sync" folders on a remote server. I believe that this would store Sent Items on the server, but I'm only 92.6% sure.
