Problems using a software called phone slips

My employer is having a problem with his treo 700. I'm not sure though whether the problem is with outlook or the messaging software phoneslips that we use in the office. The phone slips software is a messaging software in our office that has a phonelist, calendar, and messaging system. My employer purchased the addon software from pslips called outlook link. This allows us to run the pslips through outlook so everything is accessible thorough on program. Everything works when he syncs with outlook except for the contacts list. The phonelist from pslips is linked to outlook and everything is there when you view it except for the Full Name section accessed through the Full Name button on the Add Contact screen in Outlook. This section is blank inless we have manually added the full name into Outlook. Herein lies the problem. When my employer types in the first few letters of a name to find a phone number, the treo returns the number but when he presses the key to dial the caller ID box says that this is an unknown caller. Any help you can offer is appreciated. Like I said, I'm not sure its even the phone, it may be the pslips software linking with the outlook software.
