program will not uninstall

This is a very frustrating problem. I have a program that I installed on my Treo (PicselPDF Viewer 1.1) and now I cannot uninstall the software. It does not show up in the list of apps to uninstall. I have tried to reinstall the software again (version 1.1.1) and it was successful but when I go to uninstall the software it will uninstall the newer version but not the older version. I do not have a copy of the older version becasue I downloaded the newer version. I am caught in a visious loop. I can see the files for the old software but cannot even delete them manually, they seem to be read-only files. Does anyone have any suggestions short of doing a hard reset of the unit? Thanks

do you have a file manager like filez (free) that you can delete those files?

I tried it with the file manager that came with the Treo and I even tried to delete the files by using the explorer program in ActiveSync but the files are Read-Only files.
