Q vs. 700W

Has anyone had both the Motorola Q and the Treo 700W that they can make an “unbiased” comparison for me?

I’ve been holding out on replacing my 650 in hopes that there will be a Verizon 750 sometime within the next 6 months. I’m looking hard at the Q because the audio quality and reception are much better than my 650. How is the reception on the 700W?

I don't have the Q to compare with the 700W but the 700 is an improvement over the 600 (my last phone). If you are using the smartphone to edit excel or word docs, I'd suggest the 700 since I've been told the Q has read-only capabilities on those files.

I'm a Q owner, and my husband is a 700w owner. I can tell you I'm MUCH more satisfied with my phone than he is, and we both use them for pretty much the same tasks.

One of the reasons he bought the 700w was because originally the Q didn't have the ability to edit MS office docs, but dataviz has recently come out with a new version of Documents to Go that works great on the Q.

I suggest looking at the wx versus the w - double the memory makes a big difference. Also, they are not quite in the same class. I had the 700w, sold it in anticipation of the wx, though I have not made up my mind yet. You will also see there are battery concerns with the Q - why not take a trip to the store and check each out.
