Question #2
O.K. this question popped up once I hit post on my below topic. I just got my Treo 700 and wanted to start sending pictures, ringtones, surfing the net and all that other good stuff when I kept getting this "no service call tech support" message. When I called CS they said I had a block for data on my plan. He unblocked it and wanted me to program my phone via *228. Tried that and got an "unable to program, call CS" message. The CS guy told me that with Ike hitting Houston (I live in South Texas) that they lost some of their EVDO capability and it should be up in approx 48 hours. But on my screen I see a box with EV next to my signal bars. Am I not receiving EVDO signals? I also have a wireless card on my laptop and that is how I am posting this message. Isn't that EVDO as well? Has anyone else in Texas having the same problem or is the CS Tech Support guy blowing smoke up my A$$
FUZ.

So I called tech support again and looks like the area where I live is just on the fringe of the data service tower. Everything looks o.k. We'll see tomorrow when I go to work.
