    Default Question about WM6 on Treo 700w

    I was just wondering if anyone knew if WM6 would be able to run on Treo 700w. Can they just download the software on my phone in store? I like the look and feel of WM6 thats why I wanted to know if anyone knew anything. Sorry if this is a newbie question! Thanks Guys!

    The short answer is . . . its not going to happen. You need to move on to another phone.

    Well I was just wondering. I may end up getting a Motorola Q soon anyway so I will get one that has WM6. No need to be rude tho. I was just asking.

    Sorry it sounded that way, didn't mean for it to be.

    If you are going to a Q you might consider your MS Office needs; the Q can only read Word and Excell - You will not be able to creat or edit them.

    You tend to lose a lot in the formatting department unless they have really made some changes since I last used a palm pda (a couple of years or so).

    I really don't care about any new functionality. My 700W does everything I need it to do. However, it locks up so often that I am convinced that WM5 is fatally flawed. Since I need to upgrade to make my phone work as it should out of the box, I am not only going to move on to a new phone, probably a Blackjack, I am also going to move on to a new carrier. Verizon is horrible in my area.
