Ring tone help

HI! I have the 700W and am having a hard time getting ring tones. When I had my last phone, I just looked up many different ring tones and both down loaded and paid form them through Verizon. I like the crazy and funny ring tones. I can not find anything like this for this phone. I am not a big music ring tone person. I like the weird ones like from Mr. T or weird sounds. I saw there is a way to down load entire songs, but this is not what I want to do. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for your time. Todd

If you can get the information on your computer or located on the web, I believe the following information may help.

You can download MP3, MIDI, QCELP, WAV, and WMA ringtones directly
to your smart device (see “Downloading Files and Images From a Web
Page” on page 155). You can also download ringtones to your computer
and then email them to your phone. Your device also supports video
ringtone formats WMV and 3GP, 3G2 (video files recorded from your
smart device camera).

If you have any sound file that you would like to make a rign tone you can cut it usint a audio editing software and put it onto the Treo. There are a lot of freeware audio editors on download.com you can use. If you need sound byte files aka wav, mp3, etc....... you can search the web there are thousands of sites dedicated to sound bytes. There is no need to pay for a ring tone with this phone since it is so easy to make your own.
