Ringing Problem

I'm having issues with my phone not ringing. If I have a certian ringtone enabled for an individual it works fine. If i don't have it set, and get a call from an unknown or known caller that doesn't have a specific ringtone enabled it doesn't ring at all. I've checked to make sure there are sounds assigned to both known and unknown callers, but for some reason they don't work when I actually receive a call. Anyone else seen this?

I'm having a similar problem. I assume it might be the slider switch going out but all the other sounds seem to work OK. Have you resolved the issue? If so I'd like to hear what you did. Thanks.

Well, silly me. I had had the volume turned down at the switches on the side of the phone. They turn down the ringer and the touch funtions. Now everything works right. I can slide the switch at the top again and turn on/off the ringer.
