This is a discussion on Ringtones within the Treo Smartphones forums; I wanted to get some ringtones for the palm treo 700wx... i have heard i need midi format.. any suggestions ...

    Desktop software Ringtones

    I wanted to get some ringtones for the palm treo 700wx... i have heard i need midi format.. any suggestions i am with Verizon also..

    You can use mp3 and maybe other audio formats as well, I use mp3. To add the ringtone place the ringtone in a folder of your device or storage card and select Start then Settings. Select the icon for Sounds & Notificatons, select the Manage tab then select Menu and select Add. From this point browse to the audio file you want to use for your ringtone and select the file. Now you can assign this newly imported ringtone to any of your contacts.

    There is a good site that has free ringtone's if anybody's interested.



    Its called zedge .net, completely free
