Anyone know the specifications for the speed of the SD card reader? Is it a standard thing, and the chip is all I need to worry about?

I'm using a 2 year old 512MB card, and when I take video, it's awful... choppy, horrible sound.

But when I save to Main Memory instead, it's perfect.

So, I assume it's the speed of my SD card...

Thoughts?
