Wanting to buy 2Gb SD for the Treo 700w. I read some feedback where the Treo wants to re-format the Transcend 2Gb Secure Digital Card after removing and re-inserting it. Can't understand why this would happen, but if others are experiencing this, then I don't want to.
Seems the leading chip manuf. are adhering to standards - a chip is a chip. Though, I've run into problems myself with Kingston brand not working in some models of HP Servers due to compatability issues, even though it is said to be supported.
Can anyone recommend a good SD mem chip for the Treo 700w? Of course, looking to spend as little as possible, but not at the expense of eratic behaviour or return shipping.
Hey, don't feel foolish - we've all been there. You definately have a quality chip, even though it is pricey. The speed is up there, however I've seen cheaper chips a whole lot slower. Just wasn't sure about that one.
Curious, I've seen speeds of 150 - just not sure how the one for $115-$119 is rated. Anyway, I'm really curious what speeds were talking about in the under $120 range? For some reason(?), that info is usually ommited. Wondering if it's in included in the package/box?
PPCMD - I was looking at the Lexar - great prices, and with a 5 yr warranty! Do you know the speed rating, if that even makes a difference for the new Treo's?
