Send Pics without data plan??

Is there any way to send pic messages without having the $50 data plan from Verizon???

You don't need the $50 data plan to send pic msgs. You just can't have data blocked on your phone. It will use the kb price if you don't have the data package.

I want an answer for the same question. From what I've found on the internet, you can't. Our "smart" phone won't send pics the same way a regular phone will. The 700w considers it a data transfer. Which makes us either pay by the kb or fork it over for the data plan. Seems like a scam to me on Verizons part, just to get us to buy the data plan.

I'm on a family share plan with 4 other people. The plan includes free text, pix and video messages. Since I have the "smart" phone, I'm the only one who has a problem and doesn't get to benefit from the "free" pix and vid messaging. Seems my smart phone may not be as smart as I was hoping.
