Should I wait?
If I have a 600, should I get the 700, or just get the 650?

If you're comfortable with the Palm OS, then the 650 is a nice upgrade from the 600. You might want to wait a few months until after the release of the 700. We should know if there is a Treo 700p or Treo 750 coming. This way, you'll be able to weigh all of your options:
- hopefully a lower cost Treo 650 due to launch of 700
- new 700 running Windows Mobile OS
- news of Treo 700p or Treo 750
You'll have a lot of options...

Yep, I would wait. With the flood of HTC phones about to hit the market, you'll be sure to see some price drops soon...

I agree, HTC phones will be everywhere soon, driving some competition...

I have not yet bought on of these phones but have been seriously considering it. I am quite tehnologically challeneged though and would like to know how hard this new one would be for someone such as myself.

by "how hard" do u mean how steep the learning curve might be?

If you are a 600/65 owner and happy with the PalmOS, wait
If you are looking to go Windows Mobile and not happy with the current offerings, but the SPrint 6700 looks good and is near Treo in size, then wait for the update. If you are not on VZW, you may have to wait until late Spring/early Summer as liek Sprint with the previous PalmOS Treos, VZW has a few months of lead time with the WM Treo.

slightly different version of the same question ...
I currently don't own a Treo but was about to purchase a 650 (& was thinking of the GSM version through Cingular) but now wonder whether I should wait for the 700. I would appreciate opinions on this ...

I think I'm going to wait until the 700p comes out to see how it compares with the 700w.
