i tried skype...it seemed very resource intensive and unstable, so I uninstalled it before i could really test it out....i think it's still in beta stages, so that would probably explain some of it...hopefully it improves

thanks...did you test it using evdo or wifi? did you experience latency? what do you mean by 'unstable? and lastly which skype version did you use?
evdo connection..i had the program crash on me a couple times...it also didn't want to uninstall...can't remember the specific version i tried, but it it was the latest release as of Jan 9th (when I got my phone). I never tried making or receiving calls on it, just used it to check my skype voicemail a couple times, which seemed to work fine other than the buttons were extremely small and difficult to press on the screen.
