speakerphone issue

hey guys!!!
i am having a little problem with my speakerphone option.sometime when i am on a call and i want to put it on speakerphone, the speakerphone option is greyed-out. after doing a soft reset, this option will be available.it happens from time to time.does anybody know why this happens?is there a setting that i overlooked?

wow i tired all possible ways to see if i could do what you are having problems with and cannot do it....might be with your phone

thanks for the reply.had a long conversation with verizon support and after an hour and a half of troubleshooting, he figured it was a phone problem so i was able to swap it for a new phone yesterday.everything works great now!!
