Storing Programs on SD card?

OK, so I put one short ringtone on my phone and I am getting the "memory critically low" message now. I just ordered a 2g SD, and was wondering if I can move Excel, Word, and Powerpoint onto the card, or other things.

I will leave the card in all the time EXCEPT once I get my GPS antenna I will need to be able to swap the SD card for antenna and run the GPS programs (from the micro SD).

Any help on freeing up some memory and swapping stuff over?

you dont say if it is a w or wx, but in any case - moving the prgramns to an SD card wont help becxause the alert is (most likely) Running program memory not storage memory. You need to soft reset the phone at least once a day to reclaim memory. Check the memory by going to settings - system - memory.

It wasn't from running program memory. I deleted one of the ringtones and it stopped giving me the message. I tried resetting it and it didn't help. I have the 700wx. So is there no way to move Excel, Word, and Powerpoint?

I dont know; my gut feeling is, no. Because they are not installed from any source you have acess to.

The only thing I would know to try would be to go to start - programs - and then tap and hold on excel and see if you get a menue item that allows you to move it to the card.
