    Yea that's weird. I can surf while it is connected with no problems.

    Since my current TREO 700w is a replacement one, I wonder if they are disabling that function on the new shipments of Smartphones.

    Is your 700w the original one you bought? And what type of charging/sync cradle are you using?

    I have a 700 I got when they first came out and I've never had to replace it. I'm also using the sync cable that came with it.

    I can't access the Internet when connected to my PC either. I wonder what is different ... perhaps those that can have a "Connection" configured differently? Maybe the firewall on the PC?
