Default Text Message "Chat" Feature....

Does anyone know how to setup the text message chat feature? It makes your texts look like instant messages. Im not sure if its even available for the 700W. Just seein if anyone can help me out. Thanks. I believe the 750 does it..

This is a cab install. After you unzip the folder you will have a new folder, typically it's named 'Rescoe Explorer'. If you open that folder you will a file named 'rescoexplorer_p.arm.cab'. Copy that cab file to you ppc phone, typically the storage card is best, then use your file explorer on you phone to find that file, and tap it, and that cab file will install the app on your phone. ActiveSync is used only to get the cab file to your phone, not for the installation; therefore there is no exe file. Hope this helps.

It's under 'My Device/Program Files'. Use the rescoe explorer to drill down to this directory.

That directory will only be there after you have installed the app, as detailed in step #1. The directory will not be on your 700wx by default, because this is an add-on appliction. Follow the directions exactly as detailed, and you should have no probs. Resco Explorer should be used too as it will allow you to view 'hidden' files. Good luck.
