Text Messaging Issues on 700w
Hello, I am trying to figure out if there is a way to write text messages that are longer than 160 characters. I know 160 characters is the max per single text message, but if I want to write a text over 160 characters is there a way that I can just put all of the writing in one window and the treo will automatically separate them into 2 messages?
I was writing a message and I think I pressed a button or something and I swear I saw down on the bottom it split it into 2 messages for me with the text in one window. I got all excited and I can't figure out what the hell I did to do this.
I'm just sick of writing a message up to 160 words, pressing send and closing the window, and having to start up a new message window to finish what i was trying to text in the first place, half of the time I forget where I left off. lol...
Please help!!! Thanks.

STRANGE! If you read the Palm support it states that if you have a Verizon phone (or a list of a few other providers) the Palm 700w will NOT split your messages.http://kb.palm.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBC...Case=Obj(28349)
BUT - I did the same thing ... I pressed some button and it said 1 / 2 Messages at the bottom of my text message screen. So I know that it can be done but NO ONE has an answer as to "HOW." What is the magic button that we are all accidently pressing to make this 'hidden' feature appear!!

It is a carrier related issue; some carriers support longer formats, others (Sprint) do not.
