Default Treo 700 Problem...

I was using my treo...(sending a text I believe) and Out of Nowhere it jammed (its been happening more and more frequently) so I popped the battery cover off and the battery out like I always do when it jams and put it back on....and now it goes to the "treo" screen and wont do anything else....its like jammed there....idk what would cause this...but i Noticed lately its been getting real slow and jamming more and more on me....I tried doing it over and over and it still does the same thing...I tried hitting the reset button and still got the same.... Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

If you use the treo to connect to the internet you might try to clear your broswer of temporary internet files, or otherwuise free up memory that could account for the slowness issues. If not do you use a backup program. If you have you could do that reset (hard) thing and then restore your backup and clear your browser etc That would hopefully clear up your problems.

Try going to programs - Systems and closing down all running programs on a frequent basis, all these running programs seem to freeze it..also instead of taking your battery out push the reset button in the back its tiny so use your little treo pen..These have helped me..But I still have other problems...

Hope this helps!

When my 700W locks-up I also have to remove the battery momentarilly. I've found no other way around a lock-up.

you take the cover off and by the battery theres a reset hole stick the tip of the stylus and gently push in. You can also get a battery cover from seidio that has a reset hole in the cover .

I find that keeping as much memory as possible freed up helps alot.Keep amy programs or apps on a sd card if possible.I constantly check the task manager and close any programs running, this helps with speed.Every few days I also delete my temporary IE files too.
