It was working perfectly, now it just spins saying trying to connect but never does? I'm only using it to sync files, no outlook, exchange or anything else.

I got it working again. I had to down the treo by removing the battery and fire it back up.

Ok its talking to the phone now but can not sync, it says looking for changes then times out! Ack!

You might have to repair the AcitveSync connection. I have some experience with WinMob devices and this is something that can happen after a reset.

By chance are you running any firewalls on you XP machine other than the built in POS MS firewall. I use Zone Alarm Pro and despite giving AS permissions it only loads the apps and unless I shutdown Zone Alarm Pro the contacts, mail etc will not sync. Seems like a huge bug to me or maybe a MS feature.:mad:

I do run Trend Micro Firewall but have allowed access to the app. I dont sync any outlook stuff, just trying to sync a folder so I can exchange files as needed.

trouble I am having. I have removed Active4 and reloaded it to no avail. Any help out there?

i'm having the same issue...tried pulling the battery, tried reloading active sync 4.1...still no luck

anyone have any ideas?

I'm in the same boat, however I am using ActiveSync to sync my Outlook calendar and contacts. It worked initially, but since installing Wireless Sync as a push client for my IMAP email, I can no longer establish a connection via the Active Sync USB cable. Any suggestions?
