Default Treo 700w and the Jawbone, or BT for that matter

Hello,

I just purchased a Treo 700w, and love everything about it. I also just purchased a new Jawbone paired it up an gave it a try.

To my horror the volume in the ear-piece; no matter what I do the is way over-modulated, like someone is screaming into the microphone. I've tried resetting the JB, and my treo to no avail. I had a co-worker talk into or land line headsets at varying distances and as he moves the boom away from his mouth the JB starts to become clearer.

I tried the same test with a Motorola 500 BT headset with the same result, so it's like the BT stack is causing the problem and not the BT headsets...

Anyone ever experience this?

Thanks,

Rob
