Question Treo 700w for Massage Therapist?

Hello. I am new to the forum, and I am hoping that someone can give me some helpful advice. I am seriously considering purchasing the new Treo 700w. I am a very busy mother of 3 and business owner of a thriving, individual Massage Therapy practice. I am so tired of carrying around a large appointment/contacts/client session records book (paper...yes I know I am out of date), as well as a cell phone (kyocera kx414... plain and simple, I know) and a digital camera. My question is, would the Treo 700w be a good device for me, or too much of something I don't need?

Business wise I see about 20 clients per week, all with various health problems that I need to keep track of, and differing session lengths that I need to schedule for, and therapy requirements that I need to remember (medications, physical range of motion, occupational stresses, etc). Can the Treo 700w handle all of my contacts and schedulng needs (about 600 clients in all), as well as help me with organizing my client records?

Since I cannot answer my phone while I am in session, I was considering signing up for online appointment service throught appointmentquest so my clients can schedule their own appointmets online. The dilema is that I also need internal access to this to make appointmets for my clients in my office and keep track of scheduling changes, and I really don't want to hook up a full computer in my office (I am trying to keep my office as relaxing an environment as possible). Can the Treo 700w help me with online appointment scheduling, and how difficult would it be compared to just using a laptop, or sticking with the paper system that I already use?

Also, I have to keep track of my kids' school and sports schedules. 2 different schools, 3 kids playing baseball, football, and wrestling. Can the Treo 700w help me integrate these with my work schedule?

Can the Treo 700w help me balance my checkbook and help me keep track of my personal finances as well as my business expenses?

How do you use your Treo? Is a Treo 700w a good choice for me, or should I stick with paper?

Any advice or suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thank you so very much reading and responding.

    Wendi

    Default Tablet PC

You could probably do most of the things you want, but because of the amount of input w/o a keyboard it would be extremely time consuming. Have you thought about a Tablet PC? It was hard to drag me away from a paper system until I tried a Tablet.

I know you're probably saying "too expensive", but add up your hourly rate times the hours saved using a tablet over the Treo!

    Wendi-
I think the 700w or 650 are both very capable of organizing your clients and appointments. The advantage of using the Treo is that you'll always have access to your client records and schedule. Are you using a PC to manage any of your contacts or appointments? If so, the transition to Treo will be much easier.

If data entry becomes an issue, just connect a compatible keyboard.

I am so tired of carrying around a large appointment/contacts/client session records book (paper...yes I know I am out of date), as well as a cell phone (kyocera kx414... plain and simple, I know) and a digital camera.
The 700w will replace all of these...
