Treo 700wx multiple email configuration
So I switched from a 650 to the 700wx recently in order to get a windows based smartphone to synch with my corporate email. After trying for 16 months with no success with my 650, the new 700wx worked flawlessly on the first try. Now for the problem. I use the activesynch exchange for my corporate email but I also have two other pop email accounts related to a couple of sites I own. I have attempted to set them up and I am running into problems. I have followed the directions for adding accounts and at first they seem to work. They receive email without problems but when I try to send a message I always get an error that the email address I am sending it to is invalid. The message never gets to the sent folder but is automatically placed in the draft folder after the error message. If it helps, these two accounts are set up exactly the same way I had them on my 650 and they always worked. I have no idea what direction to take now. Any help would be appreciated.

Your outgoing email server for the POP accounts does not allow you to send email from off their network. You need to set up the outgoing server to be your Sprint SMTP server.

Skipster, I owe you one. I tried it and now I am working flawlessly. Weird how the configuration was different with my 650. I sent mail without using the sprint pcs server with my 650 and had no problems. Thanks for the help.

I am having the same problem with my Road Runner email. I'm on Verizon. Can someone walk me through the setup so I can send email?
