Treo.. Done with it for a phone. Goin back to a phone. You'd think they'd make these darn things with all the same phone features as a good cell phone. Today trying to pull up a number using the little buttons almost got me in a wreck for the umpteenth time. No 'Name Dial' function for the blue tooth... I called Verizon and now am only going to utilize the data functions on it. No big deal really, so I will continue to bring it with me on the boat when playin hookey and in the truck when on the road. BUT I will have a regular cellphone (LG 8300) to carry in my pocket for a phone. 95% of the time I have it on me, I don't need the data functions, just the phone. Maybe one day they'll make them more suitable for me. I've had my Treo 700W since March, more accurately I should say Treo's (4) since March. They're delicate, can't withstand any shock. Can't carry in my pocket with anything else like, a pocket knife or lighter, or even change (the screen damages easily).. They're fine if you keep them in a case, I do have a mount in the truck, and a case mounted on the boat which would probably work fine on your belt if that's what you're used to, I am not.
Just needed to vent and put up a warning if you're thinking of one. |
