    Default Treo freezing when opening contacts

    My Treo is freezing only when I go to Start/Contacts/ and then as soon as I type a letter the program freezes up. I have to go to the programs list and close it down manually. It does when ActiveSync is running and even when it is not.

    I do have a rather large contacts list (3000+)...perhaps that the problem.

    Anyone else having this issue?

    Can anyone help resolve it?

    FYI...this doesn't happen when I'm on the today screen and search through my contacts there.
