treo wx or motorola Q

i Have the motorola Q and was thinking about getting the treo wx witch do you think is better.

The two devices are not in the same league. If you need to have the ability to edit a document, if you do not want to jog around, if you want it to be able to meet future needs, then the choice is the Treo series. If you just want a smart phone, then the Motorola Q is fine.

yeah.. i dont have much experience with the Q, but in the 5 minutes i used it at the Verizon store i was not impressed. No touch screen makes the Q extremely hard to navigate, IMO

I actually previously owned the Q. I purchased it on a Friday, and by Tuesday I already had gone through 3 Q's because of the kinks and qwirks that it has. So I switched to the Treo 700wx and am extremely satisfied with my decision. Much easier to navigate due to the touchscreen and stylus.

In short, the Treo 700wx will offer you full touch-screen, snappier performance, threaded text messaging, Office editing included and overall acts more like a laptop replacement. The Moto Q is a great phone, slim design, extremely customizable and also benefits from EVDO. Office editing requires a third party program (Docs To Go). The knock on the Q is battery life, but you can increase the battery life with few tips. Most Q users buy the expanded battery.

Both are available through Sprint (fast data, best data pricing). The Sprint Q also features a rubberized coating which is very nice. The Treo 750 has the same treatment, so it's safe to say future Treos will also add this.

Both offer advantages, but it comes down to personal preference. It's an apples to oranges comparison. The Treo 700wx will normally cost more than the Moto Q. Again, it's the feature set.

Both have a wide array of software available.

Just keep in mind according to sprint reps, 70% of Q's get returned in the first 30 days. The other 30% belong to HS kids who are trying to be hip
