Treo700w in Verizon?

Anyone have a good estimated date on when Treo700w will be available in Verizon? I'm planning on purchasing 650 but I would like to wait around if 700w will be available soon. Do you think it's worth it? Or am I wasting my time for series of bugs and problems?

I'm guessing January and that's nothing more than speculation on my part. Verizon has said Q1 of 06'. Palm's financial quarter ends in February I believe -- so it makes sense to move some inventory prior to the close.

Do you think it's worth it? Or am I wasting my time for series of bugs and problems?

That's tough to say. The Windows Mobile OS isn't necessarily a new OS - just how it will work on the Treo 700 is unknown. All three companies, Palm, Verizon and Microsoft all have a big stake in the success -- and have spent years on the development. Let's hope that results are a stable device.

With anything new it can have issues. The good thing is Palm can't afford a major screw up and WM OS users are, well less forgiving than Palm OS users. So if you like WMoS then wait for the Treo700w if its a Palm OS device then I would get the 650. Its really tough decision.
