Default Treo700wx Verizon-vibrate alert?

Brand new to smartphones. Still in my 30 days. Two questions:
1) Does 700wx have vibrate alert for incoming calls - can't find it

2) Should I return it and wait for WM6-seems like this is old tech already and I'll be tied to it for 2 years?

Thanks

Default vibrate alert

I'm assuming the verizon version has the same features as the sprint version....go to Settings.......Sounds And Notifications........Notifications and "vibrate when ringer turnned off" and "vibrate when ringer turned off".......I have both boxes checked off and my vibrate works perfectly.....for your second question....I haven't really seen too much of a difference from WM5 and WM6 it really depends on weather or not you feel like waiting for the WM6 version of a phone....I personally think the Treo700wx is a great phone...all the applications are amazing and work very well for me

CrazyIvan, could you tell us more about what you like about your phone, and why you chose it over the Blackberrys? Thanks

well the first reason I chose my treo700wx over a blackberry was the difference in features....the blackberrys all have a scroll ball or buttom of some type..I don't like this feautre because you either have to use a scroll on the side or, with the newer ones, use a ball roller like a mouse. I like the stylus on my treo because I can click on my touchscreen to go where I want to go (make a call, open notes, etc) my second reason is that my treo runs on windows and I can easily transfer notes, word, windows and excel painlessly without have to convert the file in any way...and my third reason in that I prefer the way it looks. what's the point of having a smartphone if you don't loke the style? that's not to say a blackberry or, as my best friend calls it, a mackberry is a terrible phone I just like the features of mine....if you have anymore questions feel free to ask anything

Thanks CrazyIvan, that's just what I needed to hear. This has been a hard decision, and still is. But it's good to get detailed reviews from folks like you who have some experience with both. Thanks again!
