Trying to Install Opera Mini

I'm trying to install Opera Mini on to my Treo 700wx. I have the mini.jad file downloaded onto my phone. (I downloaded it from mini.opera.com via IE on my mobile) However, when I try to open it, a message displaying "There is no application associated with "mini". Run the application first, then open this file from within the application." pops up. I've done some searching and it seems I need the Java VM, but I can't find from where to download that.

Any help is appreciated.
