turning indicator light off?

i know on my old phone i was able to turn the indicator light off. i was wondering if it's possible in the treo 700.
that thing drives me insane. i'll be watching tv with my phone next to me and all i can see out of the corner of my eye is a green flashing light. it's like having a VCR that just flashes 12:00. it's annoying.
or if there was a way i could keep it turned on... anything to keep it from blinking.

You'll need a regeditor, but:

This works on both various WM03 and WM05 devices to turn off the blinking led lights:

Hkey_Local_Machine/Drivers/Builtin/AllLEDMgr

Change the Index value from 1 to 0

Soft reset if needed

*Note: This tip was taken off a WM5 Hack site...I personally can not verify if this works or not. If somoeone wants to post the actual Key string that would be great.
