Update 1.22....now gmail won't send - Treo Forums

I updated to the new software 1.22 for my 700w and now my gmail account won't send. I can receive every once in a while, but the send is kaput.

Anyone else have this issue?

I have done the update as well. My Gmail works just fine after the update. Maybe delete the email account from the phone and re add it.

Thanks...I had put off what turned out to be the inevitable.

Deletion and re-adding did what 3+hrs with Verizon tech service could not: fix this.

Helped me out a ton also! Gmail was always the most reliable and quickest email client on my Treo 700w. After the update I just couldn't send mail. It gave me an error that said to check my settings. After checking each settings 10 times I found this post. Deleted the account and recreated it. Now everything works as it did before the update. Thanks for the help Verizon...

Just reminds me why I don't like proprietary things...
