Voice Command and Memory Issues - Treo Forums

I can't seem to keep Voice Command running at all, it crashes all the time complaining about low memory. I have next to nothing running just Outlook with two accounts and Intellisync. If I go to the memory area in settings I have between 7.24 and 8.4MB of free program memory but still VC dies on me. Any thoughts......? I find VC to be one of the best features of the 700w even thought it does not work with my Blue Tooth headset.

Voice command will not work with headset. I think I read that someplace, however, I've tried it on my 700 - no go. Voice command works on my 700 even with memory down to 2MB.

I suggest you do a soft reset and then try it. Good luck.

Richard, is it shutting down while you're using it, or is it just out of the blue?

Are you running Intellisync or Activesync? It sounds like you might be having the activesync issues. Have you ever run Activesync? Running it once could trigger the constant connect attempt problem that a lot of people (including me) had.
